If Cynthia Yarbrough was born in 1811, as she claimed in the 1850 and 1860 censuses, then she married at age fourteen to 21-year-old Reuben Yarbrough. From the documentation, this would appear correct. Whether she fibbed about her age later is not at present determinable.

She was his only wife, and they both died together at the same time, perhaps along with Emma Yarbrough, the daughter or granddaughter shown living with them in 1860.
