Clarence (Peachey) Agler, 79, a resident of 320 Winchester Street, Geneva, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, November 3 at his home following an extended illness.
He was born January 6, 1906 in Adams County, the son of the late Harlow and Josephine (Foreman) Agler. In Decatur on July 28, 1928 he married Madelyn V. Weaver and she survives.
Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Betty of Huntington; a son, Morris Agler of Bear Lake; 20 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter, three brothers and three sisters preceded in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Downing Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Wilbur Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday until time of services.
