Birth: Feb.
Death: Dec. 28, 1917
Spokane
Spokane County
Washington, USA

Bridget was born to Catherine (Clark) and Charles Gaughran in 1843 or 1847. She was born either in Ireland or New York.

She married John Henry Morf and together they had 10 or 12 children (Mary, John Henry Jr, William, Charles, Milton and Leo survived into adulthood).

Bridget and J.H. lived in Plymouth County, Iowa where they owned a farm southwest of Merrill, in 1880 she was living in Plymouth Township. In May 1888 the family moved to Washington where they settled in Tumwater, Thurston County. (I am guessing that the move might have had to do with their daughter Mary's marriage which occured in November of the same year.)

After J.H.'s death Bridget rented a house in Olympia and then was a boarder at a home with her sons Charles, Leo and William. In 1910 she moved in with her daughter Mary's family in Spokane.

Other possible spellings of Bridget's maiden name include: Langham, Gathren, Ganghan, and Guaghoren all of which appear in official records.
