Anna Burton Fultz, 97, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 10, 2011, in Vancrest Health Care and Hospice Center in Eaton, Ohio.
A longtime resident of West Portsmouth, Ohio, she was born in Carter County on May 19, 1914, to the late Jim and Ollie Burton.
She was a longtime member of the Wesleyan Church at 1514 Eighth St., West Portsmouth, Ohio. She retired from Scioto Memorial Hospital in 1979.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Fultz, in 2006; sons James Fultz in 2003 and Howard McCormick in 1951; two brothers, Willard and Dennis Burton; and a sister, Minnie Burton.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth and Freda Fultz of South Shore, Leonard and Carolyn Fultz of West Palm, Fla., and Coston and Kay Fultz of Camden, Ohio; two daughters, Lois Helen Fultz Tackett of Dayton, Ohio, and Sandra Fultz Hamilton; a brother, John Burton of Dayton; 13 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Pastor Carl Rose. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Carter City.
Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
