RAYMOND ELBERT "RAY" WEBB, aged 75, died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children, August 4th, 2011 from complications of leukemia. Ray was born in Paris, Lamar County, Texas the youngest child of Eugene Elbert Webb and Pauline Vivian Bales Webb of Bonham. Ray served overseas in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, retired from Bayer Chemical Company and was a resident of Danbury, Texas for 36 years. Ray loved to fish, spend time with his family, and tell and laugh at good stories.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and daughter Karen Michelle Webb. Ray is survived by his wife Katherine Peltier Webb of Danbury, son Thomas Ray Webb (Beth) of New Orleans, daughter Deanna Gail Webb of Houston, son Troy Douglas Webb (Peri) of Houston, son Joseph Todd Webb (Melissa) of Sugar Land, daughter Katherine Lynn Webb Hicks (Perry) of Barksdale, daughter Dr. Suzanne Lindsey Webb Strom (Bradford) of Corona del Mar, California, and eleven grandchildren.
Visitation at St. Anthony de Padua Roman Catholic Church, Danbury, Texas, on Sunday August 7, 2011 at 5pm followed by Rosary/Wake at 7pm. Mass of Christian burial Monday August 8, 2011 at 10am, St. Anthony de Padua Roman Catholic Church.
