Death: 1820

When John died intestate in 1820, he left a widow (his second wife) and 13 living children. Hunterdon County Orphans Court records Apr 1821 show a map dividing the property. He was buried on his farm. In 1930, a 12 foot square wall and a marker were erected around the burial on Philhower Road.
