Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah B. Stallings 56, of 1242 North street, who died in her residence Monday at 3:05 p.m. after a six-month illness, will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in the Carroll-Wallace Funeral Home chapel. burial will be in Magnolia cemetery. A native of Port Neches, Mrs. Stallings was a life-long resident of this area. She was a member of the Pentacostal church. Surviving are her husband, Herman Stallings; a daughter, Mrs. J.B. Nobles of Beaumont; seven sons, Hugh Hallan of Shreveport, La., Billy M. Hallan of Jasper, Malcolm K. Hallan of Houston, Maurice M. Jacks of Vidor, Terry S. Jacks of Vidor, Tommy L. Jacks of U.S. Army, Fort Storey, Val, and Roy Jacks of U.S. Army, Germany. Also two sisters, mrs. Lonnie Gray, of Houston and Mrs. Pearl Hallan of Houston; and two brothers, Ellis Bradley of Beaumont and Buck Bradley of Beaumont.
