Mark was born 27 Jun 1956 the son of Dearold J. Ferguson and Leatha LaVon Clark Ferguson.
He attended elementary school in Ririe and Ririe High School where he played football and basketball.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Priest in the Shelton Ward at the time of his death, and had served as president of the Deacon Quorum. He had a hobbie of model airplanes and cars.
Mark was killed in a two-car collision 12 Dec 1974 near Rexburg, Madison, Idaho. The accident occured as he was driving to Ricks College after playing in an LDS Church basketball game.
He is survived by his parents Dearold J. and LaVon Clark Ferguson, Star Route, Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho, two brothers, Kym D. Ferguson and Mike V. Ferguson, both of Ririe, Jefferson, Idaho, and two sisters, Judy (James) Hall of Rexburg, Madison, Idaho, and Peggy Ferguson of Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho.
Funeral services were held 16 Dec 1974 at the Shelton LDS Ward Church with Bishop Wayne H. Johnson officiating. He is buried in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
