Hampton - Mrs. Ivy Lillian McAlhaney Youmans, wife of Lee Roy Youmans, died Saturday in a Hampton hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church Sunday at 4 p.m. with the Rev. W. Paul Roach officiating. Burial will be in the Church Yard Cemetery, directed by Peeples Funeral Services, Inc. She was born in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Newton and Hubernney McAlhaney. Surviving are: three sons, Cary Lee, Miles N., and Lee Roy Youmans, all of Hampton; two brothers, Bob and Quillie McAlhaney of Vanrville; two sisters, Mrs. Sidney Crapse of Estill and Mrs. Gettis Sinclair of Varnville and three grandchildren. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 30 Jan 1966
