Mrs. Minerva Osborne, wife of Benjamin Osborne died at her home in Windfall Wednesday morning. Her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Osborne was born in Rush county, April 26, 1844. Her father was Benjamin Tolle and her mother was Nancy Applegate Tolle, both parents being pioneer residents of Rush county. Mrs. Osborne was one of thirteen children, only one surviving, this being Mrs. Lucretia Sutton, who resides near hemlock. Henry Tolle, who died a short time ago was a brother. Mrs. Osborn was united in marriage to Benjamin on April 26, 1864, the marriage taking place in Rush county and the following year they moved to Tipton county, going to housekeeping in a cabin that stood on the farm where the wife died. Six children were born to the couple, one child dying in infancy and one at the age of twenty-one. Surviving children are Levi C. of Ill.; David E., of Elwood; Elizabeth Loveless, also of Elwood.
