Patsy Ellen Adams, 73, of Rome City died Sunday, November 25, 2007, in Wesley Heahthcare, Auburn where she had been a resident since April.

Patsy was a bookkeeper, previously working at Flint & Walling, Food Town Supermarket, and Miller's Trucking. She was an accountant at the Northeastern Center, and last worked at Midwest Molding. She was a member of the Brimfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed collecting glass baskets, decorating cakes, and was an avid gardener. She graduated from Rome City High School in 1952.

She was born January 27, 1934, in Noble County, Indiana, to E.C. & Waunetta (Brown) Cook. She was a lifetime area resident.

Surviving are a son, David C. Adams of Cromwell; seven sisters, Edith Sprandel & James Walter, of Kendallville, Inez & Charles Mynhier of Wawaka, Carolyn DePew of Ligonier, Jeri Witham of Rome City, Bev & Tim Oesch of Topeka, Ruth & Paul Rupert of Ligonier, and Sandi Kelley & Cliff Conley of Vandallia, Michigan; one brother, Ernest J. & Janet Cook of Wawaka; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece.

Graveside services will be Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Orange Cemetery, Rome City, with Rev. Omer Nisley of Brimfield United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, 2007, from 3-7 p.m. at the Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
