Was the daughter of William and Isabella (Luckie/Luckey) Slaven (E'Slaven). First married to John Carson who died in the Revolutionary War. Married in Rowan County N.C. they had the following issues:

Second she married in 1782 David Byers the widower of Margaret Carson Byers. This union produced one daughter Margaret Byers.
