Roscoe Native Killed By Train; Funeral To Be Held Here Monday

Funeral services will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Coshocton at 2pm Monday for John B. Finnell, 39, who was instantly killed at 3am Friday when his Chevrolet Sedan was hit by a passenger train while he was enroute from Lorain to Elyria. He was alone at the time.
Mr. Finnell, a native of Roscoe, had been a resident of Elyria for the past 14 years. He was employed as a painter and decorator by the O'Donnell Paint and Wallpaper Co. of that city.
A son of the late John and Alma Talmadge {sic Mirise} Finnell, he was born Dec. 30, 1901. He was married to the former Inez Hill of Newcomerstown . Surviving are two daughters, Faye and Patricia of the home. Burial will be in Roscoe cemetery.
