Daughter of Nathaniel Wallace and his first wife Maria Bump, who died in 1860, at Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, New York.
Died - Emma Jane Haynes
At the home of her father, N. Wallace near Cumberland, Sunday, June 23, 1895, Mrs. K. N. Haynes, of spasms. Mrs. Haynes was feeling well when she went from Barron to her father's home, 5 miles south of Cumberland, to visit. Sunday she was taken with a severe pain in the head. A doctor was sent for but before he arrived the pain lodged in her stomach, which threw her into spasms. She survived two of them but with the third attack she died. She leaves a husband and five small children to mourn her loss. [Friday, June 28, 1895, Barron County Shield, Barron, Wisconsin. ]

Mrs. Emma J. Haynes, wife of Mr. Neil Haynes, and a daughter of Supervisor N. Wallace, of this town, came over from her home near Barron last week to pay a visit to the old home. She was accompanied by her six children and all were enjoying themselves until last Sunday morning, when Mrs. Haynes was suddenly taken with heart disease an died in two hours.
The deceased leaves a sorrowing husband and six small children, beside many friends who sincerely sympathize with the bereaved family and relatives.
The funeral was held at Barron on Monday. [June 27, 1895, Cumberland Advocate, Cumberland, Wis.]
