BIG STONE GAP, Va. - Barbara Ann Bruner, 67, formerly of Woodbridge, Va., died Monday (Feb. 4, 2002) at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Claud Kegley and Alice Hall Kegley.
She was born in Derby, Va., lived in Woodbridge, Va., from 1963 to 1996, and retired back to Big Stone Gap in 1997.
She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Woodbridge, Va., and worked as a merchandiser for F.W. Woolworth Company for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sharon; two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Freddie C. Bruner of Big Stone Gap, Va.; two daughters, Debby McClam and husband David, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Cindy Brown and husband Vic, of Manassas, Va.; four grandchildren, Amy O'Neill and Allison McClam of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Jason and Kelly Brown of Manassas, Va.; three sisters, Judy Willis of Fredericksburg, Va., Wanda Castin and Brenda Schindler, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; five brothers, Eugene Kegley of Big Stone Gap, Va., Robert Kegley, Paul Kegley and Charles Kegley, all of Indianapolis, Ind., and Howard Keley of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, Va.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Mutter officiating.
Entombment services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Glencoe Cemetery Mausoleum.
Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession.
Pallbearers will be Jason Brown, Vic Brown, Larry Bruner, Paul Kegley, Robert Kegley and David McClam.
