David Winston Knowlton, age 76, of Sebring was born to Clarence Reed and Lula (nee Swift) Knowlton. He was a missionary andmember of the Sudan Interior Mission, joining in 1952 and working in the Niger Republic, West Africa Teaching, Church Planting, Hospital Administration, and Missionary Administration. He received his Bachelor's Degrees from Columbia Bible College and the University of South Carolina. A resident of Sebring since 1996, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, he was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sebring. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Knowlton ; daughter, Alyce Ann Langford; son, James Swift Knowlton; sister, Rebecca Pent; and four grandchildren. Interment at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
