Cause of death - Cerebral hemorrhage.

Occupation - Farmer.

On 25 August 1862 Franklin enlisted for service in the Civil War as a Private in Company A, 7th Regiment, Minnesota Volunteers.
On 30 June 1865 he was discharged at Memphis, Tennessee.

on 5 January 1870
in Rice County, Minnesota.
They were the parents of seven children;
Emma E., Versal Jesse, Erford Theron,
Lulu Echo, Otto Almaron, Ernest Elmon,
Myrtle Edna.

at Marengo, Columbia, Washington.
