Philadelphia radio and television broadcaster who announced Philadelphia Flyers hockey games for 28 years under the nickname "Voice of the Flyers". He called six Stanley Cup Finals, five All-Star games and two NHL-Soviet All-Star series; ended his broadcasts with "Good night, and good hockey". He was elected to Flyers Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997. A graduate of Pleasantville High School and Trenton State College, both in New Jersey, he taught in several New Jersey school districts including Audubon and Lenape Regional.
