Mrs. Gladys Heinen, 44, wife of Harry H. Heinen of 3733 Ninth Avenue, died unexpectedly at her home this morning about 2:15 o'clock.
She was a native of Medina, but had lived in Port Arthur since 1919.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Harry Heinen, Jr. and Charles Wayne Heinen, both of Port Arthur; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Smith of Lake Charles, La., and Mrs. Francis Hollier of Port Neches; her mother, Mrs. Sam Smith of Medina; three brothers, Lieutenant Robert Smith of the United States Navy, E. L. Smith of Nederland and O. D. Smith of McCamey, and three sisters, Mrs. Robert Masters of Long Beach, Calif, and Mrs. Louis Heder and Mrs. Earl Weed, both of Medina.
The body will lie in state at Clayton and Thompson funeral parlor until time for services there Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
The Rev. W. A. Winkels of the Wesley Memorial Methodist church will be in charge.
Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery with T. C. Hemphill, M. M. Sherrill, E. W. Weaver, Glenn Ellis, E. H. Zahn and H. P. Foote serving as pallbearers.
