Lena Christine Farrar, 93, of Springdale died Wednesday, August 03, 2011 at her home. She was born May 19, 1918 in Healing Springs, Arkansas to Finn and Mabel Tate Ford.
Lena was a homemaker and a member of the Cave Springs Church of Christ. She loved life, her family and she enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Farrar.
Survivors include one son, Tim Farrar and wife Debbie of Springdale; two daughters, Linda Worthington of Locust Grove, VA and Carolyn Shelton and husband Larry of Norman, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Erin Allison, Chris Rusch and Julie Russell; seven great grandchildren, Christopher Rusch, Jr., Amber Rusch, Brittany Russell, Jessica Russell, Joshua Russell, Chase Allison and Elly Allison.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Cave Springs Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Elm Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
