Evart served as a Corporal, 422nd Base Unit, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He resided in Baltimore, Maryland prior to the war.
Evart was one of five airmen fatally injured in a crash landing of B-24J Liberator #42-78632 at the Tonopah Army Airfield, Nevada.
