She was the daughter of the late John Bowman Wannamaker and Inez Joyner Wannamaker. She was the widow of Jack Noble.

She was educated in the Calhoun County public schools. She was a diligent, loyal member of Emancipation Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the pulpit and missionary boards.

After 20 years of service, she retired from Americn Yard Products, where she had been a responsible and willing employee.

Survivors are daughters Thelma (William) Brown of St. Matthews, Phyllis (Henry) Montgomery of Orangeburg, Ms. Anna Noble Stephenson of Miami, MS, Jacqueline Noble and Ms. Janice Noble, both of St. Matthews, and Pamela (Tyrone) Bodrick of Okinawa, Japan; a son, Eugene (Judy) Noble of Columbia; a stepdaughter, Diane Perry of New York; three sisters, Ms. Betty Joe Wannamaker, Ms. Betty Ann Wannamaker of Brooklyn, NY and Mariah (Frankie) White of Charlotte, NC; a brother, John B. (Annette) Wannamaker of Orangeburg; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; an aunt, Ms. Carrie Jackson of Swansea; two sisters-in-law, Mamie Melton of Orangeburg and Mildred Hart of St. Matthews; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
