Edwin M. Larson died last Wednesday in a Fargo hospital. While Mr. Larson has been in failing health for some time, it was not realized that his condition was that serious. Mr. Larson sold his farm equipment about a year ago, due to failing health. He had farmed north of Litchville until about 8 months ago, when Mr. and Mrs. Larson located at: 1522 Main Ave., Fargo.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2:00 p. m. from Elim Free Church in Svea township, with Rev. J. L. Otteson officiating. Arrangements were made by Hub Peterson Funeral Home of Valley City.
The deceased was born January 22, 1911 at Litchville, the son of the late mr. and Mrs. Andrew Larson, pioneers of Svea township. Almost all of his life time was spent in this area, where he grew to manhood and attended school.
On March 5, 1948, he married Miss Violet Deemer at Aberdeen, S. Dak. One daughter was born to this union.
Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter, Valerie Ann; three brothers: Conrad of Tacoma, Wash.; Joseph of LItchville and Herbert in the U. S. Airforce; two sisters, Mrs. T. J. (Ingeborg) Dale of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Lydia Tobiason of Valley City.
Sympathy is extended to the relatives who mourn his passing.
