"GIESELMANN, PAUL. -- Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 26 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church for Paul A. Gieselmann, 75; of rural Arlington, who died on Feb. 22, 1983 at his home.
Rev. Dennis Maaske conducted the services. Burial was in St. Pauls Cemetery near Arlington.
Military graveside services were conducted by Arlington VFW Post #8332 and Arlington American Legion Post #71.
Paul was born Feb. 22, 1908 in Arlington and lived in the community all his life. He served in the U.S. Army in North Africa and Europe during World War II. He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Arlington.
He married Esther Hokamp on March 10, 1946 in Arlington. She preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 1970. His parents, Herman & Anna Beughold Gieselmann, also preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth Gieselmann of Arlington; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Niles of Fremont; two brothers, Martin Gieselmann of Arlington and Walter Gieselmann of Blair; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Franke and Mrs. Elsie Greunke both of Fremont, Miss Ella Gieselmann of Arlington and Mrs. Fritz (Edna) Bartling of Fremont; four grandchildren also survive him.
Pallbearers were Roy Petersen, Henry Probst, Lester Fox, Glen Grandquist, Albert Hansen, Edgar Kugel, Ephraim Johnson and Frank Mullen. Harold Stork was organist. Then congregation and choir provided vocal music.
