Margaret McCreary, 77, of Ontario Avenue, died Sunday, August 17, 2003, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born in Brewton, Alabama, July 31, 1926, the daughter of Clemon and Hilma [Underwood] Williams. Mrs. McCreary moved to Niagara Falls in 1959. She was a press operator for various dry cleaners in the city and then for Capital Cleaners, for 15 years, before retiring. Mrs. McCreary was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her beloved husband Grover C. McCreary of Niagara Falls, NY, loving mother of Ronnie (Ruby) Williams of Omaha, NE, Reginald (Linda) McCreary, Mark Anthony McCreary both of Niagara Falls, NY, Barbara (Charles) Salter-Jones, Janice Dale both of Buffalo, NY and Maria McCreary of Niagara Falls, NY, also survived by one brother Everett (Mary) Williams, five sisters Mattie (Harold) Mitchell , Eloise Reynolds, Mary Frances (Willie) Brye, Lillie Mae Jones, Maggie Ruth (Arvin) Gordon , daughter in law Janis Dale, sister in law of Mary Frances Williams, 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Dwight Dale and sister of the late Clemon Williams.
