Thurman W. Haney, 77, of Parkersburg, was dead on arrival at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Saturday, October 7, following an extended illness. He was born at Little Rock, Ark., December 26, 1894, son of the late Charles and Ella Ingold Haney, and resided for a number of years when he was young in the Lucille area of Wirt County. Mr. Haney was a retired employee of the American Viscose Division of the FMC Corporation, and was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Icy Ann Boyer Haney; and by one brother, John Haney, of Vienna. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at the Ogdin Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Kelsie Board officiating. Interment was in the Two Runs Cemetery in Wirt County.
