William Paulus, a car inspector for the Delaware and Hudson Railroad for many years and more recently an employ of New York State Public Works, died yesterday at his residence, 9 John St, Green Island, after a brief illness. He was born in Albany but had been a resident of Green Island for sixty years, where he was a communicant of St Joseph Church. In recent years Mr. Paulus had served as a maintenance man at the court of Appeals in Albany. He is survived by four brothers: Frank, George and Charles Paulus of Green Island and Casper Paulus of Troy and three sisters, Miss Elizabeth and Miss Mary Paulus north of Green Island and Mrs. Edward Hurst of Albany.

The funeral will be conducted from the McNully Funeral Home, tomorrow at 9am and at 9:0 from St Joseph's Church where a Solemn Requiem Mass will be offered, interment will be in St Agnes' Cemetery, Menands.
