Lucille Lily Castor, 94, of Mahomet died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday (July 28, 2011) at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1917 in Sellers, Illinois to L.A. and Ella Hidreth McCormick. She married Carl Castor in Urbana on April 5, 1942. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by six sisters and six brothers.
She is survived by three sons, Delmer (Gaye) Castor of Mahomet, James (Marilyn) Castor of Fisher and Dale Castor of Champaign; five grandchildren, Don, Sarah, Eric, Jeff and Jim Jr. and eight great-grandchildren.
