Erastus Foster Burba was born in Hartford, KY 9/10/1864 and died 6/2/1940 at the home of his son, J.E. Burba at Duncan, OK. He married Mary Elizabeth Linville 3/6/1890 and they had 8 children. One son, Earnest, died in infancy, one daughter, May Beardsley, died 6/26/1934, and 4 days later, his oldest son, Tom, was killed in a car
accident. His wife died 7/21/1938. Those left to mourn are: his 3 sons, J.E. of Duncan, Earl of Loveland, CO, & Sam of Tuttle, 2 daughters; Nona Gambill of Tuttle & Bula Fender of Sparta, ILL., 2 sisters in Kentucky and 1 in Missouri.
