Fred Rolen, age 78 of Dandridge, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011.
Mr. Rolen was preceded in death by his son, Freddie Eugene Rolen; parents, Ora and Cora Rolen; brothers, Charles and Tommie Rolen; great-granddaughters, Heather Olds, Kimberly and Savannah Hurst; step-son, Carroll Cox; daughter-in-law, Jewel Rolen; several nephews and a niece.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, T.J. Rolen, Ed and Caroline Gibson; Danny and Debbie Cox; daughters and sons-in-law, Pattie and Eric Coleman, Sharon and Ronnie Hurst, Shandra and Jamie Valentine; daughter-in-law, Debbie Rolen; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Otha Rolen and wife Linda, David Rolen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosie and Steve Watson, Daisy and Garland Jenkins, Dorothy Wyatt; special friend, Deanna Turner.
The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Pastor Eric Hurst and Pastor Steve Blanchard will officiate. Interment 10 AM Saturday in Rolen Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
