Henrietta was the editor of the "Ladies' Repository", a magazine which first appeared in 1832 as "The Universalist". Henrietta was the last editor of the periodical until her departure in 1874. Universalism was considered an iconoclastic sect and the periodical did not fare that well, selling only about 2000 copies each month. The "Ladies Repository" was published in Boston, Massachusetts, but it is not clear whether Henrietta lived there during the time she was editor. It is assumed that she did live in Boston and returned to Columbus due to ill health and lived with relatives until her death.
