Rebecca Caroline Post was the daughter of William L. Post and Elizabeth Rebecca "Becky" Chapman; she had the following siblings: John Beaver Post, Algerine (Algarine) Post Robbins, Joseph, and Pleasant Post. She had the following half-siblings whose mother was Elizabeth "Lizzy" Pettit Robbins: Tatnall Holt Post, John Marion Post, Mary Arminda Post Gladney, and step-brother Joshua Robbins (father: Benjamin Robbins; mother Elizabeth Pettit).

She married Benjamin Robbins b. 1836 IT d. 1884 IT, on Sept 20, 1866 near Armstrong Academy near Boggy Depot, Choctaw Nation, IT. He was the son of Joshua Robbins Sr. b. 1813 Cherokee Nation East in GA, d. Aug 11, 1897 in IT, and Nannie Parris.

They had the following children: (1) W. J. Robbins, b. 1871, Canadian Dist., Cherokee Nation; (2) Milo Teehee Robbins b. 1875, Canadian Dist.; (3) Richard Butler Robbins, b. June 8, 1877 in Canadian Dist., Cherokee Nation, IT, d. April 10, 1947 at Tahlequah, married on Nov. 20, 1897, to Sarah Onie McCullough b. July 4, 1879 in TN, d. June 3, 1936 at Saracoxie, MO. One of their children was Eva Jane Robbins b. Oct 8, 1899 at Tahlequah Dist., IT, d. March 18, 1978 at Fort Gibson, OK; she married Clarence Riley "Pat" Scott on July 10, 1918; (4) Dock Robbins b. 1881, d. after 1902.
