Obituary from the Grand Rapids Press, 4/21/1937:

"Mark E. Warner, 80, resident of Ann Arbor the last 15 years and a former resident of Alto for 25 years, died in Ann Arbor. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edith VandenBosch of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Emma Gordon of Seattle; a son, Ray of Seattle, and two brothers, Grant of Lowell and Newton B. of Mullekin. The body will arrive in Lowell Friday morning and will lie in state at the Alto Baptist Church from 1 to 2, when services will be held. Burial in Bowne Cemetery."
