Major League Baseball Player. Born Andrew Jackson in Tupelo Mississippi, he was a infielder making his debut with the New York Giants on April 15, 1927 and played for them for four seasons, (1927-30). As a versatile utility player, he finished his career with a record of 321 hits, 166 runs scored, 14 homeruns, 11 runs batted in, a .281 batting average and a .950 fielding percentage.
