Mrs. Marina Espinoza - World Independent – August 11, 1954 - Mrs. Espinoza Funeral To Be Friday - Funeral services have been completed for Mrs. Marina Espinoza, 61, who died in Denver Sunday evening.
Mrs. Espinoza, a lifelong resident of Huerfano County, had suffered poor health for over two months and had been confined to a hospital in Denver since July 5.
Mrs. Espinoza is a member of St. Mary church, the Christian Mother's Society, the Altar Society and the Coronado Club.
Surviving are six sons, Dan Vigil, Casper Vigil, Larry Martinez, Charles Martinez, and Richard Martinez, all of Denver, and Gilbert Martinez of Nebraska; three daughters, Mrs. Chris Aranda, of Walsenburg, Mrs. George Sacoveich of Massachusetts, and Mrs. Sol Pineda of Stockton, California.; a niece, Christine Duran, who is making her home with Mrs. Espinoza; eight brothers, Felix, Jose L., Raymond, and Ernest Castro, all of Walsenburg, and Epifanio Castro of San Paulo, Colorado. Silverio Castro of Toltec, Fidel Castro of Colorado Springs, and Toby Castro of Denver; three sisters, Mrs. Sinforosa Armentas of Avondale, Mrs. Maclovia Gonzales of Pueblo, and Mrs. Stella LeFevre of Denver; two step-daughters and sixteen grandchildren.
There will be recitation of the Rosary Wednesday night at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Burress Memorial Chapel.
The members of the Altar Society are requested to attend the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. and the Christian Mothers Society at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night and the Coronado Club is requested to attend on Thursday night.
Funeral services will be held at Burress Memorial Chapel Friday morning at 8:30 and the Requiem High Mass will be at 9:00 at the St. Mary church.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary cemetery, where the Coronado club will exemplify their services.
