Claire Warrick received a telegram on Monday afternoon stating that his brother, Lloyd at Silver City, New Mexico had suffered a paralytic stroke, and that his condition was considered as being serious. The following day he received another telegram stating that Lloyd had died at 5:00 o'clock on Tuesday morning. Lloyd Warrick was born on a farm near Craig, Nebr. on May 22, 1881. Later the family moved to Blair where Lloyd grew to manhood. He was married in this city, and in 1916 he, together with his family, moved to New Mexico where he was engaged in business up until his death. He was well known in this community and leaves a large circle of friends who will greatly mourn his loss. Interment will be made at Silver City. Surviving him are his bereaved wife Catherine Gertrude (Bassett) Warrick, two sons, Gilbert Lloyd Warrick and Stuart Clair Warrick, both of Silver City; and a brother, Clair Warrick, of this city.

LLOYD WARRICK DIED IN NEW MEXICO

Lloyd Warrick, a brother of Clair Warrick of this city, suffered a paralytic stroke Sunday at his home in Silver City, N.M., and Clair received a telegram Monday that his condition seemed improved. Yesterday morning another wire said he passed away at about 5 that morning.

He was but 44 years of age May 14th last. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Catherine Gertrude Bassett, daughter of the late Samuel Mayhew Bassett, for many years a resident of this county; two sons, Gilbert Lloyd Warrick, 19 and Stuart Clair Warrick, 12. Clair received a letter from him only last Friday dated the 9th.

Lloyd was in the auto business here with Clair for several years. They were located where the Home Bakery is now located. He left here for Silver City, where Harry Bassett of THE BASSETT BROTHERS is in the Ford business, about 11 years ago. Burial will be down there.
