Dec. 17, 1921 - July 19, 2011 Wilma "Ruth" Cresswell, 89, of Pleasant Hill, Mo., passed away July 19, 2011. Graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 22, at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Ruth was born Dec. 17, 1921, in Picher, Okla., to William and Lena Cresswell. She owned and operated Leonard's Restaurant and Wornall Restaurant for many years and she enjoyed watching the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs games. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clifford, Robert and Earl Cresswell; sisters, Ethel Boden, Georgia Atwood and Hazel "Flo" Stewart. Ruth is survived by her niece, Karen Oliphant; nephew, Justin Scott Boden and his wife Jakqualyn and their child Juliet.
