CLEMMONS - Mrs. Pansie Conrad Jones, 96, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. She was born Aug. 30, 1910, in Lewisville to Bob Dallas and Ida Speas Conrad. She was a longtime member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and also a member of Jonestown Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest D. Jones, in 1992, to whom she had been married for 60 years. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Dallas, George and Harold Conrad, and two sisters, Blanche Fishel and Louise Hamm. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Charles D. Parker of Winston-Salem; three grandsons, Steven C. (Edie) Parker of Redondo Beach, Calif., Scott E. Parker of Philadelphia, Pa., and Michael D. Parker of Charlotte. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Sylvia Wilhelm officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1130 Jonestown Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Our sincere and grateful appreciation and thanks to the staff at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living, for their loving care and concern during Pansie's stay.
