Jewell Davis
BARDWELL, Ky. Services for Jewell Davis, 79, of Bardwell Rt. 1, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Story and Orr Funeral Home in Arlington. The Rev. David Stephenson will officiate and burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
Mr. Davis died at 7:45 a.m. Monday at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton. He was a farmer, a self-employed carpenter and member of Mississippi Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mayme King Davis; a son, Pete Davis of Bardwell, and two grandchildren.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a daughter, Reta Beth Pickett; a sister, Pansy Moyers, and a brother, Truman Davis.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Jacobs Lane, died Monday at Western Baptist Hospital.
