Mr. R.B. Bradshaw

Mr. R.B. Bradshaw, age 84, of Hiawassee, passed away Monday, January 3, 2005 in Chatuge Regional Hospital.

Mr. Bradshaw was born May 9, 1920 in Towns County to the late Raleigh and Lucy (Eller) Bradshaw. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and had received the Purple Heart. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Bradshaw in 2000.

Survivors include: daughter, Frances Norton of Young Harris, daughter, Barbara Anderson of Hiawassee, son, William Bradshaw of Hiawassee, son, Jimmy Lee Bradshaw of Loganville, daughter, Reta Joe McKin of Hiawassee, sister, Annie Nation of Hiawassee, sister, Hazel Dover of Hayesville, brother, Edward G. Bradshaw of Hiawassee, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Stiles and Rev. Glen Eller officiating. Music was by Willie and Nola Jean Nichols, Rita Bradshaw, and Delaine Bradshaw. Burial was in Boyds Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Anderson, Dale Anderson, Randy Anderson, Jody Norton, Ricky Bradshaw, Robert Bradshaw. Honorary pallbearers were Lisa Seaborn, Teresa Addis, Jason McKin, Heather McKin and Jimmy McKin.
