My Paternal Great Grandmother...Georgianna was the daughter of Pierre Louis Gonthier and Celina Gonthier (Laferriere) She was born on October 1, 1869 in St-Cajetan d'Armagh,Bellechasse,Quebec,Canada. Georgianna married Vital Matteau and together they had 12 children. On August 16, 1947 Georgianna passed away at the age of 77. She is buried with her husband in St Joseph's Cemetery, West Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island. ( I have heard that my sweet,little grandmother smoked a corncob pipe!!!!)
