Blosser was born September 7, 1895, at Malta Bend, Missouri, to Quincy and Bettie Gauldin Blosser. He died December 30, 1989, at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia, Kansas.
Mr. Blosser moved to Norway, Kansas, from Saline County, Missouri. On October 20, 1921, he was married to Isabell A. Collins at Belleville. He attended Kansas State University.
He enlisted in the US Army during World War I and in 1923 he learned to fly. In 1988 he was awarded the Kansas Aviation Award for being the oldest licensed pilot. He operated Blosser Motor Company, Concordia, for many years, and served as mayor of Concordia for two terms. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, Isis Shrine of Salina, Elks and Moose Lodges, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, World War I Barracks, 40&8 and the Flying Octogenarians.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors included his wife, Isabell; a sister, Nadine Whitebread; and a brother, Loyd Blosser. Family links: Spouse: Isabell Collins Blosser (1899 - 1996)
