Funeral for Wesley Lee Smith, 60, 1112 N. 11th. Chickasha, Will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday March 22, 1984 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Rev Ed Whitely of the Kenwood Pentecostal Church of God officiating. Mr Smith was born March 2, 1924, in Stratford. He died Monday 19, 1984 of a apparent heart attack in his home. He and Alma Jean Boggess were married Oct. 25, 1947. He live 18 years at Portales N.M the rest of his life he lived in Chickasha, OK Mr Smith was a retired Ford motor mechanic. He was a Army veteran serving in World War II.
Survivors include his wife Alma Jean Smith, of home; two sons, Steve Olan of Portales N.M., Danny Smith of Chickasha; two daughters, Reba Jean Mullins and Polly Ann Herron, both of Chickasha; four brothers, Carl Smith of Snyder, Willie Smith of Chickasha, Floyd Smith of Altoona, ALA.,and Monroe Smith of Verden; two sisters,Lucy Ferguson and Mary Lou, both of Amarillo, Texas; and eight grandchildren. Interment will be in Amber Cemetery.
