Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Klett, of Lowville, and Mrs. Robert Higman, of Croghan; a son Clarence Strife, of Brandreth, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; a niece, Mrs. William Scherer, of Lowville, who had always made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Strife since childhood; also three sisters, Mrs. John Becker, of Croghan; Mrs, Kate Mattis, Beech Hill; Mrs. Christopher Campany, Indian River; three brothers, Nicholas Strife, Lowville; Michael Strife, New Bremen, and Peter Strife, Strife's Corners.
