aka "Robin" and "Debbie Deer Creek"

Murder victim.

Described by her family as being kind, gentle, and loving, a 16 year old Marci would find herself in a short lived relationship with serial killer Wayne Nance and ultimately become one of his victims. Her identity was confirmed in 2006 through DNA testing.Marci was known as"Debbie Deer Creek" to Missoulians for 22 years as a victim of a murderer in Missoula. She also called herself "Robin" while living in East Missoula.I am the person that found her on Christmas Eve 1984. She was identified in 2006. Her brother's Derek and Troy and step-brother Tony Barnes came to Missoula to gather her remains and finally put her to rest. Our thanks go out to Capt. Larry Weatherman and Capt. Greg Hintz for their diligence in never forgetting Marci. Our thanks also to the many other's behind the scenes that helped solve this case. I myself haunted every web site I could find, till the very end, trying to find out who she was. I sat by her empty grave many times asking for a sign. Rest in Peace Marci - you deserve it
