Although the obit says he is in the IOOF Cemetery, there is no record of him as being there. He does not have a headstone.


Simon married Robin Nettie Bowman in Spokane Co., July 6, 1884. Simon died from myocarditis.



Funeral services for S. W. Ricketts, 71, who died here yesterday will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., from Zell's, Rev. Mary Budd officiating, assisted by J. W. Slaton, interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery.

Surviving are six children, Bert and Marvin of Portland, John of Indiana, Mrs. Rosa May Beers of Meadow Glade, Mrs. Ora Dell Edwards of White Bluff, Wash., and Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor of Portland. The deceased also leaves two sisters. Pallbearers will be Fred Bichsel, James Lambert, W. P. Gillespie, Lewis Anderson, L. T. Daw and F. B. Friedley.
