Helen Hope Brock, 86, of Batesville, died Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Hospitality Hall in Batesville. She was born June 15, 1918 in Parowan, UT the daughter of Daniel Sinclair and Annice Ann (McMullin) Parker, both deceased. She married Carl Blythe Brock on October 31, 1936 in Parowan, UT and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1980.
Survivors include five daughters, Betty (late William) Cummins of Seattle, WA, Ruth Ann (Gary) Parker of Hartford, CN, Mary (Dale) Giesting of Batesville, Susan (Ray) Mason of Colorado Springs, CO, Connie (David) Waldram of Tustin, CA; one son, Robert (Maureen) Brock of Vancouver, WA; one brother, Frank Parker of Champlain, NY; sixteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Joseph Brock; one daughter, Amy Joyce Brock; eight brothers; and one sister.
Mrs. Brock was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Batesville Ward.
Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, January 18, 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Batesville Ward with Elder Robert Phaneuf officiating.
Burial will be in the Dale Cemetery in Connersville. Memorials may go to the Church Missionary Fund.
