Mary Colleen Jones

SALINA -- Mary Colleen Jones, 68, of Salina, formerly of Pittsburg, died after a short illness on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at the Salina Regional Heath Center.

She was born Feb. 27, 1933, at Pittsburg to Paul C. and Norah McGraw Ahrens.

She married Keeth R. Jones on Sept. 5, 1959, at Pittsburg. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1989.

She moved to Salina following her husband's death.

Mrs. Jones was a former member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and presently a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Salina.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Gregory Jones of Pennsylvania, Daniel Jones of Kansas, and Micheal Jones of Maryland; two daughters, Ursula Vogt of Colorado, and Theresa Moffitt of New York; her mother, Norah Ahrens of Pittsburg; one brother, David Ahrens of Leavenworth; one sister, Doloros Jean Yoakam of Arma; and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Robert McElwee as celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Pittsburg.

Parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with visitation to follow.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, Pittsburg.
