Lois M. (Noe) Lawson, age 91 of Cold Spring, Ky, passed away Fri., May 20, 2011.
Lois was born Sept. 20, 1919, in Beattyville, Ky. She was the daughter of the late James and Alpha (Couch) Noe.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jesse Lawson, son Gene E. Lawson of Newport, Ky., daughter Pauline Lawson, daughter in law Linda Lawson, 1 great grandchild, 1 great great grandchild, sisters, Ines Guy and Mavis Spicer.
She is survived by sons; Kenneth P. (wife-Wanda) Lawson of Cold Spring Ky., Leonard H. (fiancé-Clara) Lawson of Newport, Ky. 6 grandchildren; Danny (Kay) Lawson, Madonna (Austin) Watkins, Ricky Lawson, Anthony (Traci) Lawson, Rodney (Letonya) Lawson, Annette (John) Fiasco, 11 great grandchildren; Amanda (Ryan) Minser, Danielle Lawson, Lauren (Ray) Pridemore, Lindsey Watkins, Logan Lawson, Lexi Lawson, Isaac Lawson, Hannah Lawson, Morgan Bolmer, Cameron Fiasco, Jordan Fiasco, 2 great great grandchildren; Mason, Trey Pridemore, sisters; Gladys Brandenburg, Eunice Schwartz, brother; James Earl Noe.
Lois was a homemaker and former employee of Rose Brothers. She was also a member of the Church of Christ in Covington Ky. and former member of the Slabtown Church of Christ.
Lois (better know as Granny) was never afraid of hard work. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, precious grandmother and friend to many. She will truly be missed.
