Georgia Mefford
SHERIDAN, WY. ---- Mrs. Georgia M. Mefford, 80 Sheridan, died Monday at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 12, 1892 at Unionville, MO., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Coffin.
She moved to Sheridan in 1910 where she worked for the Sheridan Music CO.
On Oct. 4, 1926, she was married to Frederick Mefford at Miles City, MT.
They ranched near Decker until four years ago when they retired to Sheridan.
He died in 1971.
She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include 11 nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Ed Ahlquist of Billings, MT., Mrs. Phillip Buckley of Decker, MT., John Gorman of Sheridan, WY., and Jack Coffin of Miles City, MT.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Ferries Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray Clark officiating.
Burial will be in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
